The Fjords Muldal Recliner offers Scandinavian design, comfort, and quality at a much lower price than Ekornes Stressless®.

The Fjords Muldal leather recliner is manufactured by Hjellegjerde, a Norwegian-based company founded in 1941. Hjellegjerde is certified by the International Standards Organization (ISO) which means their chairs meet both Norwegian and international standards of excellence. The Muldal comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty (see our warranty section for details). Steel construction inside cold-cured molded foam ensures stable and consistent comfort for years of use.

Fjords Muldal Recliner Features

The Fjords® Muldal recliner is our smallest model, making it a good choice for small areas in the home, or RV. The Muldal is available in two sizes making it possible for different size people to enjoy matching styles.

• This model is available in 100% top grain leather and quick ships in Nordic Line leather colors: Havana, Dove, and Sandel.
• Available by special order in all Fjords leather grades and colors (See thumbnails).
• Wood base colors include Charcoal, Cherry, Chocolate, Espresso, Light Oak, Teak, and Walnut.

This recliner features the Fjords ®Active Release System™ that enables the headrest to be adjusted and provides proper ergonomic comfort in all positions. Now you can read your favorite book or watch TV with proper head, neck, and lumbar support while in the reclined position. In addition to the reclining mechanism, this model features a 360-degree swivel. The swivel design allows movement of the recliner with just a slight push of your foot.
